Rising dramatically from the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean, Capri is unlike anywhere else in Italy. Shaped by towering limestone cliffs, hidden coves, fragrant gardens, and breathtaking sea views, this small rocky island has captivated travelers, artists, writers, and emperors for centuries.

Although Capri covers just over 10 square kilometers, every corner has its own personality. The island is divided into two municipalities: Capri and Anacapri, each offering a completely different atmosphere and experience.

Most visitors arrive at Marina Grande, the island's main port, where ferries from Naples, Sorrento, Positano, and the Amalfi Coast dock throughout the day. From here, buses, taxis, the funicular, and even scenic walking paths make it easy to begin exploring.

The municipality of Capri is home to the famous Piazzetta, elegant boutiques, lively cafés, panoramic viewpoints, and picturesque streets filled with history and charm. It also includes Marina Piccola, a beautiful bay on the southern coast known for its crystal-clear water, beach clubs, and spectacular views of the iconic Faraglioni rocks.

Just a short bus ride away lies Anacapri, the quieter and more authentic side of the island. Set higher on the mountain, it offers peaceful streets, artisan workshops, traditional restaurants, stunning viewpoints, and access to Monte Solaro, Capri's highest point, where unforgettable panoramic views stretch across the Bay of Naples.

One of the most beautiful things about Capri is that every area offers something unique. Whether you're wandering through the elegant streets of Capri Town, enjoying a swim at Marina Piccola, watching ferries arrive at Marina Grande, or discovering the peaceful charm of Anacapri, every part of the island reveals a different side of its character.
